Hey everyone,
I've never read the bible much in my own time, and after we made this group i felt that reading the bible was a very important part of my day. Can anyone please help me out on which book i should start off on, because I've been reading books like Romans but its kind of complicated and hard to understand for me right now.

Don't mean to stalk...lol but I reckon the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John) are probably the best place to start since well, they tell us all about the life of Jesus (and His teachings) and that's pretty much the main focus of Christianity =P
ReplyDeleteyeah, i started with the gospels as well. It's a good starting place, and jesus has lots of teachings in there :)
ReplyDeletei also enjoy referring to corinthians, because it also mentions some things that we could apply to life. hope this helps :D
oh yeah, and what Claire taught me ages ago, NLT is a bit easier to understand than NIV :P

Actually I have a copy spare because Alex is subscribed but he's not here anymore so there's extra! I'll bring it to church tomorrow =)
The only problem I find with those is that you don't really remember that much and it's hard to get the big picture of it all - but it's good as a supplement to your quiet time and quick-read if you're in a hurry...lol
